Overview

Everything to run a greenhouse vent on the numbers. A Controller as climate master, an Outdoor Gateway for long-range wireless across the range, CO2 + Climate Sensors at canopy height reading CO2, temperature, humidity, and pressure, and 24 V linear actuators sized to your vent leaves, each with its own fused supply, cable kit, and rod and ball eyes. Sensor and actuator counts are set to your house. The actuator is LINAK TECHLINE IC as standard (LA33 for ridge and sidewall leaves, LA36 for large bays and screens, LA25 for a small hatch), and the Controller drives any actuator with an integrated controller over Modbus RTU or CANopen, so an existing house’s rams can join the bus instead of being replaced. Rules run on site: open on canopy temperature or VPD, hold closed while CO2 is on, override on heat, close on rain or wind when those inputs are added. Stroke is measured off your leaf before the actuator is ordered, so every kit is quoted.

Actuator

Sized to the vent

LINAK TECHLINE IC as standard: LA33 (5,000 N, 100–600 mm) for ridge and sidewall leaves, LA36 (6,800 N, to 1,200 mm) for large bays and screens, LA25 for a small hatch. Stroke is measured off your leaf plus about 50 mm before it is ordered

Bus

Modbus RTU or CANopen

The Controller is bus master on either. Any actuator with an integrated controller that speaks Modbus RTU or CANopen can be driven the same way, so an existing house's rams can join instead of being replaced. The Controller writes 0–100 % open; position, current, and faults read back. Have actuators already? Email support@growbud.io with the model and we can usually add its profile in days

Climate rules

On the Controller

Open on canopy temperature or VPD, hold closed while CO2 enrichment is on, high-temperature override that beats the hold, and rain or wind close when you add those inputs. All run on site, with or without internet

Power

24 V DC, own supply

Each actuator ships with its own fused 24 V supply. Draw is 9–20 A under load, so it never runs off the Controller's sensor rail

Grows with the house

Add rams and sensors

More vents are more actuators on the same bus; two rams on one leaf run at the same percent. More sensors join the gateway. The kit is quoted to your house

Ridge vent on the numbers

The CO2 + Climate Sensor reports canopy temperature, humidity, VPD, and CO2 over the gateway. The Controller runs the rules on site and drives the actuator over Modbus RTU or CANopen on the wired bus, with the actuator powered from its own 24 V supply.
